Perfect Balance Pad (Correction)
Excess heat and imperfect saddle fit are the most common causes for back problems in sport horses/ponies. This pad can help you with both problems.
It features removable visco-elastic foam ("memory cell") inserts in the front, which are strategically placed to fill the dip beneath the withers. The high tech foam is strong enough to sustain lift, yet pliable enough to provide seamless build-up only where needed and absorb the shoulder motion. Rear inserts (sold separately) can be used to stop saddle rocking and provide a lift of about 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Also available separately, is a full visco elastic insert, which can help with more severe temporary fit problems or with horses that are very sore backed. The high tech memory foam insures even saddle contact and delivers additional protection. Wither Relief Pad
Regular saddle pads can cut off blood supply to the withers when pulled taut. The cut-out in this pad prevents pressure from being applied to the wither area and slightly lifts the saddle away from the area at the same time.
