This waterproof and breathable Turnout rug has a high cut neck and Horseware's cool V front closure system, giving your pony more warmth and more freedom to graze. With 200g of fibre filling, the Rhino Pony Wug Medium weight will keep your pony really warm while not making him hot and sticky! A lightweight version, the Rhino Pony Wug Lite is available which is ideal for those ponies that just need a little extra protection from the elements! Color is the navy/purple/green check as shown
- High cut neck. The Rhino Pony Wug incorporates a neck warmer into the blanket, which retains warmth and keeps out rain – yet allows the horse enough freedom to graze. This extra cut of the blanket means that more of your pony is covered – keeping him warmer, drier, and cleaner!
- Patented front closure system. The Rhino Plus incorporates Horseware’s unique, patented front closure system. Instead of being horizontal, the top strap is at an angle and lies along the groove between the horse’s shoulder and neck. This “V” formation transfers pressure above the point of the shoulder, which lies between the straps, giving your horse more freedom of movement and more freedom to graze.
- Barrier Technology. Rhino Turnouts use barrier technology. This means that the AquaTrans™ coating, instead of being applied to the outer fabric, is applied to a 2oz nylon carrier fabric which is layered underneath. This maximizes the hydrophilic properties of the AquaTrans™ coating, giving improved breathability and waterproofness.
