 It began in 1938 with a barber in Waterloo, Iowa named Henry E. Shapley, who formulated a product for dandruff and psoriasis. An avid horse lover, Henry soon discovered the same great results on his horses as he did with his customers. The product "M-T-G", which stands for Mane Tail Groom, was the first in what has become a long line of trusted equine grooming products. Our customers first requested the "M-T-G", and since its introduction into our store, the demands for the other Shapley products have continued. As a tack shop owner, you can never go wrong with customer recommended and approved products, their a sure winner. Original M-T-G by Shapley's
It has been providing quick and effective relief from numerous skin ailments since 1938! This safe and easy to use product is the only one needed for relief from a variety of bacterial and fungal skin problems, such as: rain rot, scratches, girth itch, dermatitis, sweet itch, dry skin, and tail/mane rubbing for starters. Many have experienced drastic condition improvements after just one application. It has also been proven to work exceptionally well in the promotion of hair growth, with some reporting as much as 3 inches of new growth in a single month. M-T-G creates a healthy environment for the hair follicle, resulting in maximum growth while keeping the length of the hair shaft soft and pliable for minimum breakage. Works well on the skin or mane/tail hairs. Can also be used on dogs and other animals skin problems, such as hot spots, itching and dry skin.
